I've never critiqued a stamp before, but I really love this one. Not only is the subject serious and crucial, but the stamp is informative. Using the word "fast" as an acronym is brilliant, in my opinion. It's something I'll always remember to check for, because it's simple to remember, and I've already read the stamp a bunch of times.

The only thing that irked me about this was the choice of coloring. I looked up the color for the stroke awareness ribbon, but I got purple and red instead of blue. So I'm a bit confused as to why you chose this color, but frankly, I don't have a problem with it. Blue is probably easier to see then purple, and a gentle color, rather then red. Plus, it hasn't been done before, making it more original.

Aside from that, the overall appearance looks great. The format is simple, with a little blue clip-thing in the corner, that helps catch my attention. The text and size of the words is easy to read, and it looks attractive, especially with all of the different shades of blue you used, instead of one color.

The speed of the words is also something to admire. Just like the stamp says "think fast", the words go at a speedy pace, but with enough time for the viewer to read them and process them. It's rather fun to watch over and over again, just because the words are lined nicely and have a nice beat to it. Hehe, it sounds weird for a stamp, but there are many nice aspects to this one.

The vision or theme portrayed in this stamp is clear ten-fold, so a definite five for that. Personally, I've never seen a stroke stamp, so I do find this original enough for a three and a half, although I believe now I've heard the acronym from somewhere, and upon searching, I see similar stamps.

Still, none of them actually provided information on what to do. I'm not sure if I see any techniques, but I'd say a two for that. And finally, for impact, another five, mostly for how it impacts others (the comments and favorites have made that quite clear). I believe this'll help many people, and means a lot to people who are familar with the subject. As you said, it's dear to your heart, and you've made that clear with the effort put into this stamp.

my pop pop died of the stroke due to an overdose in the hospital. he was recovering from knee surgery when it happened, and no one knew about it until 3 hours after he had past..... aren't they SUPPOSED to check on that kind of stuff like every 30 minutes??

this is close to me

I love this stamp, and this is too near and dear to my heart. My mom had it once (she was lucky to have recovered) and my grandma.

Important stuff.
I had a class where we learned about all the signs of a stroke, because the sooner you get a stroke victim to the hospital, the better chance of recovery they have.
Thanks for making this stamp! :)

My grandma had a mini stroke yesterday morning. It was the worst one she has had, and we are all on pins and nettles today. Her health has been rapidly declining over the past few weeks, and this only serves to remind us how fragile life really is.

My grandma had a major stroke in 2004. Stressed my whole family, my dad the most, because he was her son. They started the campaign in Australia a few months after she died in 2007 after another minor stroke. Glad to see that people here have seen it as well. :)

Definitely using this. A hero of mine died of a stroke a while ago (and he was only 26)...needless to say I don't want any more people going through that, especially if someone can do something to help.

Thank you for making this.

I had a first aid class last semester is "Time" actually refers to the time they started showing signs of having a stroke.

Great stamp!

Nice one. sweetheart.
I had two massive heart attacks last year, and as they worked on me they told me that I was about to have a huge stroke. It never happened, but I was a damned sight more frightened of the thought of that than the heart attack I was actually having. Those ads on the idiot box really bring it on home, don't they?

Fabulous stamp sweetie.
Well all of these are but this one especially.
My mom suffered her THIRD stroke just before Christmas. Shes always in pain and overdoes it, so I'm always paranoid on my toes because I'm so so scared that it might happen and it might be the last thing in her life... D:

Yeah, I saw the ad on the TV just yesterday and it really grabbed my attention. I feel a little better now I know how to spot, spreading the word is so important, so its great to see a stamp with how to detect a stroke. Its a really scary situation. So spreading awareness is really good <3

Wow, cool.

My aunt had a stroke last year. It was really scary.

What happens if you don't get them to a hospital in time?

As far as I know it causes the long term effects to be worse.
"If the person has failed any one of these tests, you must call 999. Stroke is a medical emergency and by calling 999 you can help someone reach hospital quickly and receive the early treatment they need."

My grandfather has a stroke two years ago.
